Saint Philip has a rich heritage of Christian worship and service that dates back to 1865. With the help of God, we feel that our future as a servant church will be even greater than our past. We ask that you pray for us that the Lord will allow us to continue to grow in the Spirit.

URGENT NEEDS

In light of the government shutdown and suspension of SNAP benefits, Saint Philip is reviving our Food Pantry and asking everyone who can to bring non-perishable food items to the church at 613 MLK Jr Blvd, Savannah, on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 12–2 p.m. or on Sundays. As Matthew 25:35-40 reminds us, “For I was hungry and you gave me food.” Let’s continue to serve our community with love and compassion.

Additionally, every third Sunday, as part of our Community Breakfast ministry, we offer clothes to those in need. Right now, the greatest needs are warm socks, undergarments for both men and women, and blankets. If you would like to donate, please bring your items to the church on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 12–2 p.m. or on Sundays. Luke 3:11: "Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise."
